Kevin Wayne Monroe
Age 61, of Dayton, passed away at his home on February 5, 2025. Kevin was born March 14, 1963, to Rev. Carlos Wayne & Pauline (Morgan) Monroe. His father preceded him in death in 2009; along with one brother, Michael Edward Monroe.
Kevin is survived by his mother, Pauline & her husband Dorsey Lakes; one brother, Scott Monroe & his wife, Leslie; his sister-in-law, Penny Monroe; six nieces & nephews, Rachel, Nick, Neil, Matthew, Morgan & Michael; and by his former wife, Suzanne.
The family will be receiving friends from 11:00 am to 12:00 Noon on Tuesday, February 18, at Morton & Whetstone funeral home, 139 S. Dixie Drive, Vandalia. Funeral services will follow at Noon with John Seagraves officiating. Interment will be at Polk Grove Cemetery.
