Kenneth M. Oppie, a beloved father, grandfather, great grandfather and friend, passed away peacefully on September 29, 2025, at the age of 77. A longtime resident of Dayton, Ohio, Ken was known for his unwavering kindness, generous spirit, and deep love for his family and country.

Ken proudly served in the United States Air Force and was a Vietnam War veteran. His dedication to service was matched only by his devotion to those around him. Whether it was lending a helping hand or offering a listening ear, Ken was someone you could always count on.

He found joy in life’s simple pleasures—spoiling his grandchildren, fishing, perfecting his golf swing, and cheering on his favorite football teams. These moments reflected his appreciation for peace, camaraderie, and family.

Ken is survived by his children: Aaron, David and April; 15 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren, all of whom carry forward his legacy of love and resilience.

He will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him. His warmth, loyalty, and gentle humor will live on in the hearts of his family and friends.
