Kenneth G. Hammons

HAMMONS, Kenneth G., age 66 of Riverside, passed away unexpectedly September 6, 2012 at his residence. He was born July 25, 1946 in Rockcastle County, KY, son of the late Whit & Okla (Baker) Hammons. Kenneth was an employee of Flowserve, formerly the Duriron Corporation. Preceded in death by his great-grandson, Brennyn Hammons, Kenneth is survived by his wife of 36 years, Rebecca; 1 daughter, Caroline Kilby; 2 grandsons, Christopher Hammons & Zachery Kilby; 1 brother, David Hammons and numerous other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held at 7:00 pm, Friday (TODAY), September 7 at the Morton & Whetstone Funeral Home, 139 S. Dixie Dr., Vandalia with Pastor Mike Dooley officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home TODAY from 5-7 pm. A graveside service will be held at Merritt Cemetery, Rockcastle County, KY on Saturday.
