Juanita P. Noble

Age 89, of Vandalia, passed away Tuesday, March 3, 2026. Juanita was born January 12, 1937 in Dayton to the late Clifford C. & Pearl E. (Smith) Spitzer. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by three siblings, Ronnie, Kenny & Marilyn.

She was a 1955 graduate of Vandalia-Butler High School and retired from Wright State University with 27 years of service. Juanita and her husband enjoyed traveling to Steel Guitar Shows for many years and for 40 years they went to the International Shows in St. Louis, MO. They enjoyed spending time in South Padre Island, Texas and Arizona. Juanita dearly loved her, husband, daughter, grandchildren & great grandchildren.

She is survived by her loving husband of the past 70 years, Robert E. Noble; one daughter, Linda Noble; two grandsons, Robert (Erica) Carpenter and Brandon (Jessica) Short; great grandchildren, Temujin & Amina Carpenter and Jaxson & Alexis Short; siblings, Delores, Dick (Pat), Roberta, Frank (Pam), Barb, Kathy, Bobby (Cindy), Nancy & Steve (Jo); sisters-in-law, Connie and Carol; her special friend, Buddy; and by her extended family & many good friends.

The family will be receiving friends from 4:00 – 6:00 p.m., Wednesday, March 11, at Morton & Whetstone funeral home, 139 S. Dixie Drive, Vandalia. Memorial services will follow at 6:00 p.m. with Pastor Michael Malcosky officiating. Interment will be at a later date at Poplar Hill Cemetery in Vandalia.

The family would like to extend a special thanks to Brooke Back-Stewart and Diana & Donna Sadler for the loving care they provided to Juanita.

In lieu of flowers, contributions should be made in memory of Juanita to The Hospice of Dayton or donor’s favorite charity.
