Bowman, Joyce A. (nee: Hoke)

Age 73, passed away on Sunday, September 6, 2020.  She was born to Cecil E. and Florence E. (Roberts) Hoke on November 28, 1946 in Dayton, Ohio.  She was a 1965 graduate of Vandalia-Butler High School.

She is survived by her husband of 53 years, William Harley Bowman; daughters, Holly A. (Bowman) Wendel of Vandalia, OH. & Carrie E. (Bowman) Urosevic; 2 grandchildren of Walsenburg, CO.; Sister, Susan (Hoke) Photinos of St. Louis, MO.; nephews Scott Schaffner of Vandalia, OH. and Christopher R. Hoke; nieces Stacy (Schaffner) Partain, NC. and Cecilia Photinos, OH.

Joyce was preceded in death by grandparents W.T. and Maude (Fleenor) Roberts and Cecil and Althea (Weaver) Hoke; parents Cecil E. and Florence E. (Roberts) Hoke and brother Robert C. Hoke.

Graveside service will be held at 12:00 pm on Monday, October 19, 2020 at Poplar Hill Cemetery, 1340 S Dixie Dr., Vandalia, OH 45377.
