John F. Hanauer, Jr.
Age 83, formerly of Arcanum, passed away Monday, August 7, 2017, in Vandalia. John was born November 6, 1933 in Dayton to the late John F. (Sr.) & Lucille (Feese) Hanauer.
He is survived by his loving wife of the past 54 years, Shirley A. (Harper) Hanauer; children, Loren Napier (Tony), John Orthmann (Joanne) & Yvonne Orthmann; four grandchildren, Jacob, Leah, John & Ryan; and by four great grandchildren, Bella, Journey, Sunny & Arlo; sister, Judy L. Anderson; and brother, Steve R. Hanauer (Joyce).
A memorial service will be held at 3:00 p.m., Friday (8/11) at Morton & Whetstone Funeral Home, 139 S. Dixie Dr., Vandalia. John Seagraves will officiate. The family will be receiving friends from 2:00 p.m. until time of service.
