Jerold H. "Jerry" Ziegert

ZIEGERT, Jerold H. Jerry age 72 of Dayton, passed away Friday May 21, 2010 at Good Samaritan Hospital. Jerry was born November 9, 1937 in Dayton, son of the late William & Ruth (Ryan) Ziegert. He was a member of the Army and Air National Guards and was a longtime employee of DP&L. Jerry was preceded in death by one brother Tom and one sister Marilyn. He is survived by 3 nephews Tim, Mike, and Trent Ziegert and one niece Lisa Lieberman. The family will receive friends Tuesday evening from 6-7pm at the Morton & Whetstone Funeral Home 139 S. Dixie Dr. Vandalia. Private funeral services will be held at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Childrens Medical Center in Jerrys memory.
