Jeanne Lamb

Jeanne A. (Adams) LAMB, of Vandalia was born January 29, 1923 in Winston-Salem, NC, daughter of the late George & Cora Adams. She passed away Monday, November 13, 2006 in Dayton, Ohio at the age of 83. Jeanne is survived by her husband and life-long companion, Charles W. Lamb, Sr.; 2 sons, Charles W. Lamb Jr. and Greg Lamb; 1 daughter, Jetta Chiles; 8 grandchildren, Christine Stock, Jennifer McPhaul, Marie Bennett, Jeremy Lamb, Rusty Chiles, Kevin Chiles, Kara Baker and Brendon Bigelow; 6 great-granchildren, Cameron Stock, Chandler Stock, Ashley Stock, Lauren McPhaul, Ethan Bennett and Austin Bennett; 1 brother, Robert Adams and numerous other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 am, Thursday, November 16 at the Morton & Whetstone Funeral Home, 139 S. Dixie Dr., Vandalia. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday evening from 6-8 pm.
