Jane M. Payton

PAYTON, Jane M. (Woods), age 55, of New Carlisle, passed away unexpectedly Tuesday, February, 2, 2011 at home. She was preceded in death by her parents Gerald and Betty (ODell) Woods, her brother Kenny and close friend Carol. She is survived by her husband Dennis Payton, son Charles and wife Holly Payton of Vandalia, four grandchildren, three brothers, two sisters, many nieces and nephews and countless friends. Along with her many hobbies she loved taking care of people, helping animals and baking cookies. She was greatly loved by all who knew her. She will be remembered always as a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and friend. Services will be held Saturday, February 5, from 2-4 at Morton Whetstone Funeral Home, 139 S. Dixie Drive, Vandalia.
