James C. Wilcox

Age 73, of Dayton, passed away at his home on Sunday, October 25, 2026. Jim was born January 10, 1953 in Middletown, Ohio to the late Eugene & Evelyn (Rapson) Wilcox. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his wife, Marion (Alexander) Wilcox, in 2015.

Jim retired as an over-the-road truck driver. He was a U. S. Army veteran an avid football fan (Atlanta Falcons & Georgia Bulldogs), he enjoyed assembling model airplanes and looking at classic cars, especially Chevys.

Jim is survived by two sons, Camron Howell & his wife, Angelena and Chris Wilcox & his wife, Heather; seven grandchildren, Allison (David), Alexis, Abby (Jake), Alena, Daniel, Lance and Abigail (Jared); two great grandchildren, Izaak and Aero; siblings, Barbara McCoy (Lee), Jeff Wilcox (Connie), Beth Howell (Don), Anthony Wilcox (Mary Beth), Andrew Wilcox, Dana Smith; and by his extended family & many good friends.

A celebration of Jim’s life will be held at a later date.
