James I. Mossbarger

MOSSBARGER, James I. age 60 formerly of Vandalia, passed away Sunday July 24, 2011 at the Carlton Manor Nursing Center in Washington Court House after a lengthy illness. He was born May 6, 1951 in Dayton, son of the late Howard & Rachel (Williams) Mossbarger. James was a member of the Murlin Heights United Church of Christ. He was preceded in death by one sister Carolyn Wilson. James is survived by a brother John & wife Lynn Mossbarger of St Marys; a sister Linda Trismen of Anna; nieces & nephews Eric Trismen, Judy Kinney, Rebecca Larsson, and William Wilson. Funeral services will be held Thursday July 28 at 2:30 pm at the Morton & Whetstone Funeral Home 139 S. Dixie Dr. Vandalia. Burial will follow at Forest Hills Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday from 1:30 pm until time of services.
