James D. Hodges

HODGES, James D. of California passed away on Friday, October 21. He was a former resident of Vandalia, Ohio. He was born to Mary (Hays) and Dwight Hodges on November 5, 1946 and they preceded him in death. He leaves behind his beloved wife Jeannie, his sister George Ann and his brother Scott (Vickie) Hodges, nephew David (Melanie) Hodges, nieces Whitney (Patrick) Hamilton, Ashley (Michael) Brady, and Andrea Franz, 2 great nieces and 2 great nephews and many friends. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm, Wednesday, November 2, 2011 at Morton & Whetstone Funeral Home, 139 S. Dixie Dr., Vandalia. Burial will follow at Poplar Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday from 12:00 pm until time of service.
