Jack R. Howard

HOWARD, Jack R., age 79 of Lewisburg, formerly of Vandalia, passed away Monday, May 28, 2018. He was born June 16, 1938 in Harlan County, Kentucky, son of the late Garrett & Seretta (Payne) Howard. Jack was a retired employee of General Motors and a former member of the First Baptist Church of Vandalia.

Preceded in death by his wife, Ruby R. (Yount); 1 son, Jack R. Howard, Jr.; and numerous brothers and sisters, Jack is survived by his daughter, Robbin & husband, Steve Smith; one grandson, Brian Weiss; along with a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 12:00 noon, Friday, June 1 at the Morton & Whetstone Funeral Home with Mr. John Seagraves officiating. Interment to follow at Dayton Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday from 11:00 am until time of service.
