She was deeply devoted to her faith as one of Jehovah’s Witnesses Vandalia congregation, and her hope and love for Jehovah guided her life and the way she cared for others. Her faith brought her great comfort and was something she joyfully shared with those around her.
She also spent many years caring for others through her work in childcare at the Vandalia Recreation Center, where she worked for 20 years before retiring. She had a natural gift for working with children and brought warmth, patience, and kindness to the many families she served.
