Gregory E. Coy

COY, Gregory E., age 60 of Tipp City, passed away unexpectedly August 1, 2017. He was born December 4, 1956 in Dayton, OH, son of Harlen D. & Patricia (Tippie) Coy. Greg was a member of the Franklin Lodge #14 F&AM of Troy, OH and attended the Troy Church of the Brethren. Preceded in death by his father, Greg is survived by his mother, Patricia of Tipp City; 3 children, James, Katie and Tyler; siblings, Steve (Jeanette) Coy of McKinney, TX, and Candy (Dr. Rindy) Matthews of Leesburg, OH; along with numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 12:00 noon, Wednesday, August 9 at the Morton & Whetstone Funeral Home, 139 S. Dixie Dr., Vandalia. Interment will follow at Dayton Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday from 11:00 am until time of service. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Troy Church of the Brethren, 1431 W. Main St., Troy, OH 45371 in Greg’s memory.
