Forest L. "Woody" Lee

LEE, Forest L. Woody , age 88 of Dayton, passed away Thursday, April 19, 2012 at Miami Valley Hospital. He was born August 5, 1923 in Dayton, OH, son of the late Forest & Catherine (Schaefer) Lee. Forest was a lifelong resident of Dayton, a retired Model Maker with Standard Register with 45 years of service and a member of the Christ Episcopal Church in Dayton. He was a Cub Scout Leader, loved fishing, camping, boating and excelled in woodworking. Forest is survived by his wife, Edna M. Lee; 2 sons, Kenneth A. & wife, Linda A. Lee and Thomas E. Lee; 4 grandchildren, Brady, Erin, Jennifer, and Matthew; 4 great-grandchildren and 1 brother, Jack & wife, Marie Lee. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 pm, Friday, April 27, 2012 at the Morton & Whetstone Funeral Home, 139 S. Dixie Dr., Vandalia with Rev. John Paddock officiating. Entombment will follow at Woodland Cemetery & Mausoleum. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday from 11:00 am until time of service.
