Floyd P. Wolford Jr.

WOLFORD, Floyd P. Jr age 74 of West Milton passed away Wednesday October 6, 2010. Floyd was born November 29, 1935 in Phelps, KY son of the late Floyd & Elizabeth (VanDyke) Wolford Sr.. He was a retired employee of Chrysler Corp. Floyd was a 32nd Degree Mason and a member of Mystic Lodge #405 F&AM, the Scottish Rite Valley of Dayton, and the Sharon Chapter #132 O.E.S. Preceded in death by 4 brothers and 1 sister, Floyd is survived by his wife of 51 years Betty (Mounts) Wolford; 2 daughters Pamela Wolford and Faith Wolford both of Monroe; 3 sisters Velva McGee and Beatrice Workman both of Montana and Ruth Phillips of Wisconsin and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held Tuesday Oct. 12 at 1:30pm at the Morton & Whetstone Funeral Home 139 S. Dixie Dr. Vandalia. Burial will follow at Maple Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday evening from 5 to 8pm. If so desired, contributions may be made to the Shriners Childrens Hospital in Floyds memory.
