Eugene A. “Kat” Katulak

Age 85, of Dayton, passed away Thursday, December 31, 2015. Kat was born June 14, 1930 in Dayton to the late Nicholas & Eva (Goettler) Katulak. He was also preceded in death by his brother, Joseph Katulak. Kat is survived by his wife of the past 60 years, Carol A. (Tunney) Katulak; son, Mike Katulak (Pam); and two grandsons, Andrew and Kevin. Kat was a U. S. Navy Veteran, a member of the Vandalia VFW Post, the F.O.P. and he was a member of the Sheet Metal Workers Union. He enjoyed fishing, hunting and camping. The family will be receiving friends from 4:00 – 6:00 p.m., Tuesday, January 5, at the Morton & Whetstone Funeral Home, 139 S. Dixie Dr., Vandalia.
