Elmer John Prikkel

Age 85, of Tipp City, passed away on Friday, August 15, 2025, at The Hospice of Dayton. Elmer was born May 5, 1940 in Dayton, to Elmer Andrew & Sophie (Szymczak) Prikkel.

Elmer retired from AT&T with 37 years of service as a quality inspector. He graduated from Chaminade High School, class of 1958.

Elmer is survived by his loving wife of the past 63 years, Janet Louise (Case) Prikkel; two children, Denise Morningstar & her husband, Scott and Dennis Prikkel & his wife, Shannon; two grandchildren, Chase (Kasey) Prikkel and Hunter (Brandon) Blakely; five great grandchildren, Judah, Adelaide and Denver Prikkel, Silas and Lewis Blakely; sister, Patricia Warren; brother, David Prikkel; his good friend, Shirley Cultice; and by his extended family & many good friends.

Private services will be held at the convenience of the family with burial of his cremated remains in Poplar Hill Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in memory of Elmer to The Hospice of Dayton.
