Elise Callahan

Age 90, of Dayton & West Milton, passed away Tuesday, April 12, 2016, at the Upper Valley Medical Center in Troy.

She was most recently a resident at Spring Hills Singing Woods in Dayton and a member of Heritage Baptist Church in Englewood.

Elise was preceded in death by her husband of 49 years, Sherman “Pete” Callahan; son, Danny Callahan and grandson, Aaron Christopher Callahan.

She is survived by one son, Larry Callahan (Karen); three grandchildren, Michelle Watkins (Jolin Mitchel), Ryan Callahan and Kelly Cornette (Mike); three great grandchildren, Riley, Dani & Dylann Cornette; and by numerous nieces & nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M., Monday, April 18, at Morton & Whetstone Funeral Home, 139 S. Dixie Dr. in Vandalia, with Pastor Gil Morrow officiating. Interment will follow at Dayton Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will be receiving friends from 10:00 A.M until time of service.
