Age 77, of Vandalia, passed away Saturday, October 29, 2022, at Stone Springs of Vandalia. Ed is survived by his loving wife of the past 54 years, Linda (Tabbert) Staley; children, Amy Bryant, Ron Bryant, Angela Evans & Jeff Evans; grandchildren, Cole Bryant, Rachal Bryant, Jordan Newport, Collin Newport, Kyle Evans, Justin Evans, Ryan Evans & Sidney Ridenour; great grandchildren, His favorite little dude, Brentley Bryant, Robiann Adkins, Kaylynn Adkins & Sadie Plemons; and by countless other family members and loved ones.

Whoever knew Ed, knew he was a funny, loving, and kindhearted man. He will be so missed and loved by everyone who he met, and his many jokes and pranks will always live on through his family and loved ones.

“Papa” will never be forgotten.

A celebration of Ed’s life will be held at a future time.
