Edward Koehler

KOEHLER, Edward J., age 91 of Butler Twp., passed away Sunday, June 24, 2007 at Good Samaritan Hospital. He was born August 18, 1915, son of the late Edward F. & Caroline (Meither) Koehler. He was a retired toolmaker with NCR Corp., was a member of Queen of Martyrs Catholic Church and spent many years serving as a Butler Township Trustee. Preceded in death by 2 brothers, Al and Larry and 2 sisters, Delores and Joan, Edward is survived by his wife of 69 years, Hilda E. (Geglein); 1 son, Mark & wife, Mary Ann Koehler of Middleburg Heights, OH; 1 grandson, Christopher M. Koehler of Dayton; 3 brothers, Robert H. Koehler of FL, Richard P. Koehler of KY and William J. Koehler of Evendale, OH, 1 sister, Gertrude M. of Cincinnati and numerous other relatives and friends. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 am, Wednesday, June 27, 2007 at Queen of Martyrs Catholic Church, 4144 Cedar Ridge Rd.. Burial to follow at Polk Grove Cemetery, Butler Twp. The family will receive friends at the Morton & Whetstone Funeral Home, 139 S. Dixie Dr., Vandalia on Tuesday evening from 6-8 pm.
