Edna Parks

Passed away Monday, June 2, 2025 at Cypress Pointe Center in Englewood. Edna was born in Gainesboro, Tennessee to the late James M. & Rose Jane (Phillips) Williford. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband of 69 years, Buddy Parks, in 2021; and by seven siblings, Mary Pharris, Maude, Alvis, Elvis, James, Charles & Larry Williford.

Edna attended the Christian Chapel in Tipp City and was a former volunteer for the Tipp City Clothesline.

She is survived by her son, Thomas W. Parks & his wife, Edith M.; and by her extended family & many good friends.

The family will be receiving friends from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm, Thursday, June 5, at Morton & Whetstone funeral home, 139 S. Dixie Drive, Vandalia. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 pm Thursday with Rev. Steve Wilson officiating. Interment will follow at Maple Hill Cemetery in Tipp City.
