Doris Middleton

MIDDLETON, Doris, age 89, of Brookville, formerly of Vandalia, passed away peacefully Friday, July 9, 2021.   She was born March 12, 1932 in Fall Branch, Tennessee, the only child of the late Paul M. & Ellen N. Carroll.   Doris was passionate about her faith and equally as passionate about her family.  Preceded in death by her loving husband, Rev. Ronald Middleton and one daughter, Roni K. Tate, Doris is survived by daughters, Rebecca Barson and Paula (Steve) Reed; 4 grandchildren, Kara (Rodney) Kendall, Emily Tate, Zachary Reed and Savannah (Jacob) Rank; and 2 great-grandchildren, Caitlin and Colin.  Doris’s family will celebrate her life privately with services entrusted to Morton & Whetstone Funeral Home, Vandalia.
