Donna Jean Donley

Donna Jean (Moody) Donley, age 70 of West Milton, passed away on July 2, 2026. Born on December 8, 1955, Donna lived a life dedicated to her family and her community.

She is survived by her devoted husband of 51 years, Robert W. Donley II. She was a loving mother to her children, Scot (Michelle) Donley, Robert W. Donley III, and Robin (Johnny) Newman. Donna’s legacy lives on through her beloved grandchildren: Sam, Sawyer, Scarlet, Robert W. IIII (Emma), Chloe, Braxton, Zayne, Josh (Keely), and Sierra Newman; as well as her cherished great-grandchildren, Phoenix and Callan Newman.

Donna is also survived by her sister, Carol Ann (Moody) & Rich Blakley; her brother-in-law, James Whiteted; her nieces and nephews, Chip Blakley, Kara (Blakley) & Kyle McClain, Brandon Moody, Shelly Moody, and Tim Ball; and her great-nephew, Felix McClain, along with a host of other great-nieces, great-nephews, relatives, and close friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Ralph & Virginia Moody; her brother, Michael Moody; her in-laws, Robert & Imogene Donley; and her sister-in-law, Jayne Whiteted.

Donna attended Queen of Martyrs Catholic School and was a graduate of the Northridge High School Class of 1974. She went on to work as a school bus driver for Northridge Schools, a role from which she later retired. Donna absolutely adored "her kids" on the bus, and they loved her right back.

An enthusiastic supporter of her children and grandchildren, Donna never missed a chance to cheer them on in their extra-curricular activities. She found joy in life's simple pleasures, whether she was camping, boating, swimming, or settling in to watch a scary movie. She will also be fondly remembered as a lifelong, avid Beatles fan.
