Donald L. Webb
Age 70, of Vandalia, passed away peacefully at his home on Thursday, June 26, 2025. Don was born July 19, 1954 in Dayton to Donald E. & Annettie “June” (Drake) Webb. In addition to his father, Don was preceded in death by one son, Jeromy Webb; and by one sister, Theresa Cemino.
Don was a U. S. Navy veteran having served during the Viet Nam War on the USS Trenton. Don retired from the Montgomery County Coroner’s Office and prior to that he was employed by Dayton Funeral Livery and at WPAFB. Don enjoyed fishing, being active with the Dayton Two-Steppers and he worked with model airplanes.
In addition to his mother, June, Don is survived by his loving wife of the past 25 years, Millie Webb; three children, Marc Webb & his wife, Julia, Christina King & her significant other, Jason and Tanya Cochran-Massey & her husband, Mitch; thirteen grandchildren; eleven great grandchildren; three siblings, Russ Webb & his wife, Karen, Deborah Webb & her significant other, Lyle and Darlene DeSantis; and by his extended family & many good friends.
The family will be receiving friends from 10:30 am to 12:30 pm, Tuesday, July 8, at Morton & Whetstone Funeral Home, 139 S. Dixie Dr., Vandalia. Funeral services will be held at 12:30 pm with interment at Dayton National Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, contributions should be made in memory of Don to the American Cancer Society.
