Donald Patrick Davis

Donald Patrick Davis, age 82 of Vandalia, passed away November 16, 2021. Even though his failing heart took him away from this world, his loving heart left a beacon of light for his dear family and friends.

Donald is survived by his loving wife Maxine and proud father to his daughters: Jayme Sue, Betty Lorraine, Nicole, Regina Lynn & Melinda Lee. He also loved his sons-in-law, 8 grandchildren & 2 great grandchildren, and his beloved dog Lucy.

Donald was a very successful business owner. He worked hard and enjoyed life. His greatest achievement was his coveted role of husband and father.

A visitation will be held Saturday, Nov. 20, 2021 from 11 :00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the Morton & Whetstone Funeral Home, Vandalia, with services at 1:00 p.m. Pastor Linda Davis, officiating. Interment to follow at Poplar Hill Cemetery. If desired, memorial donations can be made to American Legion Post #668.
