Diane L. Daily (nee: Davis)

Age 78, of Butler Twp., passed away Wednesday, February 1, 2023, at Grandview Hospital following a brief illness. Diane was born September 11, 1944 in Inglewood, California to the late John K. & Amy (Lee) Davis. In addition to her parents, Diane was also preceded in death by one daughter, Deborah Helmer; and by one grandson, Paul Helmer.

Diane was an avid gardener and bird watcher. She enjoyed playing Trivia with her good friends Cheryl & Len Tinney, Julia Gearhart, David Wyse & Walt Flory.

Diane is survived by one daughter, Diana Speraw & her husband, Chris; one grandson, Ben Donohoo; one sister, Karen Engelbert; one nephew, Nathan Engelbert; two nieces, Lauren Hauer & her husband, Mark and Lindsey Engelbert; one cousin, Greg Lee & his wife, Belinda; and by her extended family & many good friends.

The family will be receiving friends from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm on Monday, February 6, at Morton & Whetstone Funeral Home, 139 S. Dixie Dr., Vandalia. Funeral services will begin at 1:00 pm with Pastor Andy Warren officiating. Interment will be at Evergreen Cemetery in St. Paris, Ohio.
