Therdene "Dena" Grant

Age 63, of Dayton, passed away Saturday, July 23, 2016.

Dena was born August 13, 1952 in Statham, Georgia to Billie & Everlene (Aikens) Cox.

In addition to her parents, Dena is survived by her husband of the past 30 years, Shannon T. Grant; children, Scott Smith (Michele Dunford-Smith), Bambi Smith, Sergio Grant, Santel Grant (Staci) & Angelique Scott; 10 grandchildren; brother, Rogers Cox; and by her extended family & many good friends.

Dena was employed as a Real Estate Agent with Re/Max Alliance for the past 20 years.

The family will be receiving friends from 12:00 – 2:00 p.m., Wednesday (7/27) at Morton & Whetstone Funeral Home, 139 S. Dixie Dr., Vandalia. Funeral service will follow at 2:00 p.m. with John Seagraves officiating. Interment will be at Polk Grove Cemetery.
