Delores Jean Kelly

Delores Jean Kelly, 81, of Union, formerly of Riverside, passed away Wednesday, March 6, 2024. She was born to Arthur & Katherine Smith on July 9, 1942 in Dayton, Ohio. She enjoyed all things nature: gardening, hiking, hunting, fishing, geese & hummingbirds. But, most of all, she loved spending time with her grandkids. Delores was preceded in death by her husband, Ben, and her parents.

Survived by her children: Annette Cabay (Jake), Ben Kelly, Barbara Habib (Dan) & Jami Deegan; sister, Betty Brewer (Michael); brother, Bill Smith (Lori); sister-in-law, Kay Senter; 12 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren & 3 great great grandchildren; dear friends, Marti & Junior Brewer; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives & many friends.

The funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday, March 12, 2024 at the Morton & Whetstone Funeral Home, 139 S. Dixie Dr., Vandalia, with Pastor Michael Malcosky officiating. The burial will follow at Mt. Zion Shoup Cemetery in Beavercreek, Ohio. The family will receive friends 5-7 p.m. Monday, March 11, at the funeral home.
