Deborah S. Scott-Travis

SCOTT-TRAVIS, Deborah S., 72, of Dayton, passed away Thursday, July 10, 2025 at the Miami County Hospice Inpatient Unit. She was born to William & Lee Scott on February 9, 1953 in Dayton, Ohio. Deborah was a medical assistant (RMA) at the Kettering Hospital Cancer Unit for many years. She was preceded in death by her parents and her step-son, Ira Travis, III. Survived by her beloved husband of 42 years, Ira Travis, Jr., step-daughter, Shirley Haywood (Butch); and many aunts, uncles, cousin & friends. The family will receive friends from 12 noon Friday, July 18 at the Morton & Whetstone Funeral Home, 139 S. Dixie Dr., Vandalia, with the funeral service at 1:00 p.m. Pastor Dale Scott will officiate with burial to follow at Poplar Hill Cemetery in Vandalia.
