Age 53, of Dayton, passed away Thursday, December 31, 2015. Deborah was born October 1, 1962 in Dayton to Daniel Lee Rogge & Diane L. (Davis) Daily. In addition to her parents, she is also survived by her husband, Derrill Helmer; sister, Diana L. (Rogge) Donohoo; aunt, Karen Engelbert; and cousins, Lauren Hauer, Nathan & Lindsey Engelbert. She was preceded in death by her son, Paul Daniel Helmer. Deborah was formerly employed by WPAFB. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday (1/6) at Morton & Whetstone Funeral Home, 139 S. Dixie Dr., Vandalia. Pastor Tony Miltenberger will officiate. Interment to follow at Forest Hills Memorial Gardens. The family will be receiving friends from 1:00 p.m. until time of service. In lieu of flowers, contributions should be made to the Humane Society of Greater Dayton.
