David R. Birchfield

Age 73, of Tipp City, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, October 14, 2024. David was born June 10, 1951 in Dayton to the late John A. & Evelyn M. (Whitaker) Birchfield.

David was an avid boater at Indian Lake and enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren. For many years he served as a coach for the sports that his children participated in. 

David is survived by his wife of the past 11 years, Doris M. (Fix) Birchfield; five children, Jarrod (Claire) Birchfield, Justin (Kasey) Birchfield, Johnna (Chris) Clary, Renee Clawson & Jenifer Rivers; nine grandchildren, Ryan, Aurora, Angelo, Rook, Micah, Chase, Cole, Myles & Tillie; siblings, Cathy Johnson and Jason Young; and by his extended family & many good friends.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
