Daryl D Ditmer

DITMER, Daryl D., age 76 of Springdale, OH, formerly of Butler Twp., passed away Friday, August 7, 2009. He was born November 27, 1932 in Dayton, son of the late Collins & Lillian Ditmer. Daryl was a retired employee of the Plastics Materials Co. and was a Marine Corp Veteran where he served as a jet pilot. Preceded in death by his wife, Barbara Ann in 2000, Daryl is survived by 1 son, Jeffrey D. Ditmer of Uniontown, OH; 3 daughters, Debra A. Dewitt of West Chester, Randi L. Larkin of IL, & Laura Ditmer of West Chester; 8 grandchildren, and numerous other relatives and friends. Graveside services will be held at 11:00 am, Tuesday, August 11 at the Dayton National Cemetery, 4100 W. Third St., Dayton, with military honors. Friends may call at the Morton & Whetstone Funeral Home, 139 S. Dixie Dr., Vandalia on Monday afternoon from 1:00 - 3:00 pm.
