JOHNSON, Daniel J. Sr., age 65 of Dayton, passed away November 25, 2016. Daniel was preceded in death by his parents, Forrest R. Sr. & Laura Johnson, 1 brother, Forrest Jr., & 1 sister, Patricia Johnson. He is survived by 2 sons, Daniel & wife, Jennifer Johnson and Christopher Johnson; former wife & mother of his children, Mary Joyce Johnson; 1 brother, Miles Johnson (Cathy); 1 sister, Deborah Gaeke (John); sister-in-law, Verena Johnson & his best friend, Conrad Landing. A Memorial Service will be held at 3:00 pm, Saturday, December 3, 2016 at the Morton & Whetstone Funeral Home, Vandalia. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 2:00 pm until time of service. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to SICSA in Daniel's memory.
