Cora L. Coker, age 94, of Vandalia, went home to be with the Lord on October 22, 2026. Her life was filled with love, kindness, and devotion to her family, leaving behind precious memories that will forever be cherished. Cora was born on October 10, 1932, in Persia, Tennessee, to Lawrence and Bonnie Spears. A kind and caring woman, she found happiness in life's simple pleasures. She loved traveling and exploring new places, enjoyed the peaceful beauty of birdwatching, and found joy in playing bingo and watching golf on television. Above all, her greatest joy was her family, whom she loved dearly.

Cora was preceded in death by her beloved husband, James F. Coker, and her cherished son, James M. Coker. She is also survived by her sister, Opal (Phillip) Elmore; her brothers, Victor Spears and Richard Spears; and numerous nieces, nephews, and dear friends.
