Cheryl Lynn Mumaw (nee: Stevens)

Age 68 passed away Monday August 24th, 2026 at Marysville, Ohio. Cheryl was born on January 29, 1958 in Dayton, Ohio and was the daughter of Merrill J and Vivian A (Strunks) Stevens. Cheryl was a graduate of Vandalia-Butler High School and earned a University of Phoenix Associate’s degree and worked as a medical transcriptionist.

Cheryl is preceded in death by her father and leaves behind a loving mother, sister Beth and brothers Scott (Cindy) and Daron (Lisa) with many nieces and nephews.

She also leaves behind her husband Tim Mumaw I, sons Tim II (Staci), Rob (Sara), daughters Crystal and Amber, numerous grand-children she dearly loved Taylor, Madison, Brooklynn, Lylli, Robbie, Logan, Sophie, Gabby, Niklas, Nadly, Dillon and Anthony Jr. and deeply appreciated the assistance given by her grand-daughter Candace (Steven) and adored her only great-grandson, Stevie.

Cheryl enjoyed watching and cheering for The Ohio State Buckeyes, decorating cakes, writing and playing with her dogs as well as watching HGTV. Her sense of humor, tenacity and wholeheartedness will be greatly missed.

A graveside service will be held with burial at Polk Grove Cemetery, Butler Township, Ohio on Friday, August 28th at 11:00 a.m.
