Charles L. Herman

HERMAN, Charles L. age 92 of Hillsboro, passed away Friday May 28, 2010 at Miami Valley Hospital. Charles was born November 7, 1917 in Clayton, OH son of the late Jesse & Emma (Weimer) Herman. He was a 1935 graduate of Roosevelt High School and was a retired printer from the printing division of NCR Corp. and National Graphics Corp. Charles was a member of the Graphic Arts Communication Union and was a member of the Victory Assembly of God in Tipp City. He was preceded in death by his wife Eleanor in 1995. Charles is survived by his children Bonnie & husband Daniel Hale of Midland, OH, Allan & wife Laura Herman of Pataskala, OH, and Gary & wife Roxie Herman of Clearwater, FL; one brother Kenneth Herman of Wynona Lake, IN and one sister Alice Tatol of Dayton; 5 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held Wednesday June 2 at 1:00pm at the Morton & Whetstone Funeral Home 139 S. Dixie Dr. Vandalia. Burial will follow at Glen Haven Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday morning from 11:00am until time of services. If so desired, contributions may be made to Hospice of Dayton in Charles memory.
