Charlene P. Gratz

Charlene P. Gratz, 83, of Vandalia, passed away Monday, April 15, 2024 at Ohio’s Hospice of Miami County. She was born to Charles & Jeane Sebourn on August 9, 1940 in Saint Louis, Missouri. Charlene was a volunteer at the Dayton Art Institute and taught art appreciation at the Vandalia Senior Citizens Center. She enjoyed gardening and was an avid collector. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her beloved husband of 47 years, Harlan J. Gratz, in 2008. Charlene is survived by her two sons, Steve Gratz and Kenny Gratz (Laura); four grandchildren, Nathan Abney (Heather), Patrisha Forshaw (Dan), Nicholas & Natalie Gratz; numerous great grandchildren & many special friends.

The family will receive friends 4-6 p.m. Friday, April 19, 2024 at the Morton & Whetstone Funeral Home, 139 S. Dixie Dr. Vandalia, with a memorial service at 6:00 p.m. Rev. Michael Malcosky, officiating. Condolences can be shared at www.MortonWhetstoneFH.com
