Carolyn F. Boutwell

Age 85, of Beavercreek Twp. Ohio, passed away peacefully at home on Monday, June 16, 2025. She was born June 2, 1940 in Turbeville, South Carolina to the late William H. & Mary L. (Robinson) Floyd. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her brother, Herman E. Floyd, Sr.; one granddaughter, Sarah R. Boutwell; and by one brother-in-law, David Wallace.

Carolyn is survived by her husband of the past 65 years, Earnest C. Boutwell; sons, Richard Boutwell, Sr. & his wife, Tanya and Kenneth Wayne Boutwell & his wife, Carol; four grandchildren, Richard Boutwell, Jr & his wife, Shannon, Justin Boutwell, Ryan Boutwell & his wife, Megan and Jennifer Bacher & her husband, Kevin; eight great grandchildren, Avery, Hadley, Emma, Owen, Kinley, Kadence, Kerrigan and Kamden; one brother, Allan Floyd & his wife, Linda; one sister, Iris Wallace; sister-in-law, Jeanette Fussell & her husband, Charlie; several nieces & nephews; and by her extended family & many good friends.

The family will be receiving friends from 10:00 am to 12:00 Noon, Friday, June 20, at Morton & Whetstone Funeral Home, 139 S. Dixie Drive, Vandalia. Funeral services will follow at Noon with Rev. Dan Kincer officiating. Interment will follow at Calvary Cemetery.
