Carol J Burk

BURK, Carol J., age 62 of Vandalia, passed away Tuesday, January 13, 2009 at Hospice of Dayton after a lengthy illness. She was born July 19, 1946 in Dayton, OH. Preceded in death by her father, Eugene Alexander, Carol is survived by her husband of 20 years, Darryl Burk; her mother, Marian Miller; daughters, Michele Hetzer (Bob), Jill Walko (Rick); step-daughter, Angel Moody; step-son, Terry Burk; brothers, Jerry Alexander (Nadine), and Bill Alexander (Debbie); step-brother, Ron Miller (Sue); her grandchildren, Justin Macy, Madison Walko, Bailey Walko & Sydney Walko and a host of other relatives and friends. It was Carols wish that her body be cremated and a Memorial Service for family and friends will be held at 4:00 pm, Saturday, January 17 at the Morton & Whetstone Funeral Home, 139 S. Dixie Dr., Vandalia. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday from 2:00 pm until time of service. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Hospice of Dayton in Carols memory.
