Bruce W. Johnson

JOHNSON, Bruce W., 74, of Vandalia, passed away Saturday, July 24, 2021. He was born to Howard & Fannie Johnson on December 24, 1946 in Dayton, Ohio. Bruce served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War and was retired from a career in mechanical engineering and design. Preceded in death by his parents, his sister, Elaine, and brother, Terry.

Survived by his wife of 37 years, Sally; a son and a daughter; sister, Joyce; several grandchildren and many nieces, nephews and friends.

Funeral service 10:30 a.m. Thursday, July 29, 2021 at the Morton & Whetstone Funeral Home, 139 S. Dixie Dr., Vandalia. Rev. Michael Malcosky, officiating. Private interment will be held at the Dayton Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends Thursday at 9:30 a.m., prior to the service, at the funeral home.
