Betty Louise Wurstner

WURSTNER, Betty Louise (Miller), age 97, passed away peacefully on June 30, 2013 at Graceworks/Bethany Village in Centerville, OH. Betty was born on June 5, 1916 in Dayton to the late Frank and Ethel (Smith) Miller. Betty was a retired teacher from the Vandalia-Butler School system. She was a member of numerous organizations including the DAR and St. Johns Lutheran Church in Vandalia. She was preceded in death by her parents; her brother, Ned Miller; her husband, Robert; and her daughter, Carolyn (Wurstner) McCutchen. Survivors include her sons, Roland Wurstner (Vivian), Dale Wurstner (Louann), and Robert (Bob) Wurstner (Becky); seven grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and nephew, Thomas (Tom) Miller. There will be visitation on August 1st, 2013 at St. Johns Lutheran Church 122 W. National Rd. in Vandalia, Ohio at 1 PM. A memorial service will follow at 2 PM. The family request that donations in lieu of flowers be made to St. Johns Lutheran Church or Hospice of Dayton. Arrangements in care of Morton & Whetstone Funeral Home.
