Betty L. Pugh

PUGH, Betty Lou, 90, of Butler Township, passed away Monday, April 24, 2023 at Stonespring of Vandalia. She was born to Robert & Nettie Ensor on July 29, 1932 in Baxter, Tennessee. Betty loved to cook for her family and crochet.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Darnell Pugh in 1987, and her brother Johnny Ensor in 2019.

Survived by her son, Bob Pugh (Becky); brother, James Ensor (Dorothy); sisters, Virginia Bennett (TJ) and Margaret Barron (Wayne); grandchildren, Matthew Pugh (Paige) & Ryne Pugh (Katie); great grandchildren, Kendall, Axton & Kellan; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives & many friends.

The family will receive friends 11:00 a.m.-1:00 p.m. Thursday, April 27, 2023 at the Morton & Whetstone Funeral Home, 139 S. Dixie Dr., Vandalia, with the funeral service at 1:00 p.m. Pastor Scott Goodman, officiating. The burial will follow at the Polk Grove Cemetery, Butler Township.
