Bette J. Apple

APPLE, Bette Jean, formerly of Atlanta , GA and resided in Hilton Head, SC for the past 4 years, passed away December 20, 2007. Bette lived a very active and adventurous life. She loved to read and traveled all over the world. Preceded in death by her husband, Lowell Apple, her parents, Joe & Lillian Boyd, and her sisters, Patsy & Lavonne, Bette is survived by her children, Jane Reeder (David), Jim Apple (Kate), John Apple (Jain), her grandchildren, Amy Apple Cohen, Andrew and Dan Reeder, Johnny, Ben and Sammie Apple; great grandson, Max James Cohen; her sisters, Eulala Rodden and Mary Morgan; 1 brother, Joe Boyd, many nieces and nephews, and her good friend, Eleanor Moore. Bette will be missed by all that knew and loved her. A Memorial Service will be held at 3:00 pm, Friday, Dec. 28 at the Morton & Whetstone Funeral Home, 139 S. Dixie Dr., Vandalia with Rev. Thomas Weeks officiating. Private burial will be held at Harris Creek Cemetery , Bradford , OH . If so desired, contributions may be made to the charity of your choice in Bettes memory.
