Barbara J McNeal

McNeal, Barbara J., age 82 of Springfield, went to be with her Lord Thursday, June 4, 2026 at Springfield Regional Medical Center. She was born October 15, 1943, in Adelphi, OH, daughter of the late Lloyd M. & Georgia G. (Huston) Notestone. Barb was a retired teacher, impacting the lives of her students for over 29 years. She loved arranging flowers, attending her grandchildren’s activities, collecting antiques and jewelry, and loved to dance. Preceded in death by her parents, and 2 sisters, Margie Campbell and Margaret Steele, Barb is survived by her husband of 61 years, Gary; son, Bryan & wife Heather McNeal; and 2 grandchildren, Cole Schlereth (Taylor) and Riley McNeal. The family will receive friends at the Morton & Whetstone Funeral Home on Tuesday, June 9, from 11:00 am – 1:00 pm. A graveside service with Chaplain Rick Lee James will follow at Enon Cemetery, 6013 Dayton Springfield Rd; Enon, OH 45502.
