Archie E. Highley

Archie Eugene Highley, born May 27,1928 in Middletown, Ohio, passed away November 8, 2017 in Ellenton, FL. Archie is survived by: children Tim and Tammy, daughter-in-law Reda, brother William, sister Mary Ellen Compton, 8 grand- children, 18 great grandchildren, many nieces and nephews, very special friend Sondra Braun and many other close friends.

Archie was preceded in death by: his parents Ed Highley and Edith Hacker, brother Carl, sons Tom and Terry, daughter-in-law Vicki and wives Joann, Irma and Alberta.

Archie spent 30 years working in the mail room at McCalls in Dayton, Ohio. He enjoyed many years involved with UCT Councils and the Masons. He also served as deacon at Emmanuel Baptist Church. Archie loved people and collecting.

Visitation will take place Friday, Nov 17 from 5:00 to 7:00 pm at Morton and Whetstone Funeral Home in Vandalia, OH. Visitation also Saturday, Nov 18 at 9:00 am at Huber Heights Church of God with service following at 10:00. Burial will be at Forest Hills Memorial Gardens, Tipp City, OH following service.
