Ann M. Young

Ann M. Young, 87, of Vandalia, passed away Sunday, February 11, 2024. She was born to Walter & Virginia Carson on July 26, 1936 in Cincinnati, Ohio. Ann retired from General Motors (Delco) after 19 years of service. She enjoyed camping and fishing. Ann was preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Kenneth Carson.

Survived by her beloved husband, Edward L. Young, Sr.; sons, Lee Young (Carla) and William Cox; brother, Robert Carson; grandchildren, Brittney, Brian, Amanda & Chad; great grandchildren, Landen, Bentley & Isla; special friends, Phyllis & Doug Lenz.

The family will receive friends at 12:30 p.m. Friday, Feb. 16 at the Morton & Whetstone Funeral Home, 139 S. Dixie Dr., Vandalia, with the funeral service at 1:30 p.m. Rev.
