Alice M. Boos

BOOS, Alice M., age 80 of Tipp City, passed away Sunday, December 16, 2007 after a lengthy illness. She was born May 5, 1927 in Dayton, Ohio, daughter of the late Harry Mitchell & Pearl (Terril). Alice was the former owner of DL Product & Supply Company with her late husband, Elmer. She was also a member of the OES Harvest Chapter in Dayton. Preceded in death by her husband, Elmer L. Boos in 1991, Alice is survived by 1 daughter, Beverly & husband, O.L. Buck Jones of Tipp City; 1 son, Thomas L. & wife, Carolyn Boos of FL; 4 grandchildren, Terry & wife, Jennifer Boos, Melissa Boos, Amy & husband, Greg Bullion and Jennifer & husband, Patrick Bates; 4 great-grandchildren, Nicholas, Alicia, & Shaun Bullion and Natalie Bates; and numerous other relatives and friends. Funeral services were held at 2:00 pm, Tuesday, December 18, at the Morton & Whetstone Funeral Home, 139 S. Dixie Dr., Vandalia. Burial followed at Dayton Memorial Park Cemetery. The family received friends at the funeral home on Tuesday from 1:00 pm until time of service. If so desired, contributions may be made to Hospice of Dayton in Alices memory.
