Alberta Horvath

HORVATH, Alberta T. age 84 of Vandalia passed away suddenly on Monday July 11, 2005 at her residence. She was born October 22, 1920 in Dayton, daughter of the late Albert & Kathryn (Heidenreich) Weidenborner. Alberta was a retired sales associate from Elder Beerman Dept Stores and was a member of St Christopher Catholic Church. She was preceded in death by 1 brother Albert Weidenborner. Alberta was the beloved wife and mother to her husband of 64 years Valentine, and 2 daughters Kathryn (Kathy) & husband Larry Kowal of North Augusta, SC and Joanne E. (Joni) & husband Robert Jacobs of Butler Twp, 5 grandchildren Jeff & wife Milissa Jacobs, Michael & wife Gina Jacobs, Bobby & wife Anne Jacobs, Steve Jacobs, Kristin & husband Corey Huss, 9 great-grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00am Thursday July 14 at St Christopher Catholic Church with Fr Francis Keferl officiating. Burial at Calvary Cemetery. Friends may call at the Morton & Whetstone Funeral Home 139 S. Dixie Dr Vandalia on Wednesday (TODAY) from 5 to 8pm.
